The group’s Secretary General, Gabriel Wisner said, Cllr. Kolleh was honored due to his dedicated services to government since his appointment by President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.Recounting some achievements of the honoree during the year under review (2017-2018), the LYI Executive noted that since the appointment of Cllr. Kolleh to the Ministry, he has been working very assiduously to transform the Standard Department of the Ministry as compared to his predecessor. “His good working relationship with staff and ordinary employees has won him respect amongst some of his colleagues,” Wisner added.
According to the LYI Executive, Cllr. Kolleh has also provided scholarships to a number of less fortunate young people in an effort to empower them through education so as to tackle future challenges and be marketable.
“It was based upon these achievements for which the Liberia Youth Initiative chose to honor Cllr. Kolleh as a hardworking Assistant Minister of the year”, Wisner declared.
Meanwhile, in response, Cllr. Kolleh thanked the young people for the recognition and assured the group that the tribute would serve as a motivating factor to do more.
He has therefore dedicated the honor to his family, the ministry and the entire Liberian Government for providing the opportunity to serve in that capacity.
