Muslim Group Congratulates Pres. Weah

-But Calls For Changing Minds & Attitudes
President George MannehWeah and Vice President Jowel Howard Taylor are still receiving congratulatory messages recognizing their overwhelming ascendency to the leadership of Liberia.
The latest group to congratulate the new Liberian leader and his deputy is the Ansaruden Hajj and Umrah Agency, a conglomeration of selected Liberian Muslim intellectuals.Speaking recently in Monrovia, the Board Chairman of the Muslim group, Mr. Samuel Farley promised the Agency’s unflinching support to the Coalition for Democratic Change’s (CDC) led regime.
Farley called on all Liberians at home and abroad to support the Weah led government to achieve its development agenda aimed at transforming the country.
He disclosed that the group was prepared and committed to working with the CDC- led administration to accelerate Liberia’s progress while emphasizing the need for “changing minds and attitudes” to be the focus of all Liberians. “We must open a new chapter in our history and put behind us things that divided us during the elections and unite to build our country”.
The Board Chair of the group however, urged the Muslim and Christian communities together with the Inter-religious Council of Liberia to continue to organize intercessory services to pray for God’s blessing and protection upon the new government and invoke Allah’s divine intervention into the affairs of the country.
Meanwhile, Farley encouraged Liberian Muslims to put aside individual differences and come together for the growth and development of the motherland Liberia under the new regime which is headed by a young leader who was overwhelmingly elected through a free, fair, and transparent democratic process.
