Sulonteh Petition For Bong Senatorial Race

Over the weekend, Liberia former Ambassador to the United States of America, Jeremiah Sulonteh was petitioned by the Movement of Jeremiah Sulonteh as well –as cross citizens from Bong County to contest the pending Senatorial By-Election.
The group in there petitioned statements described ambassador Sulonteh as man who mean well for the citizens of Bong County.According to them, over the years the former Liberia ambassador has contributed greatly to the growth and development of the County and the society at-large.
The National Chairman of the Movement, Othello Frank chatting with this paper via Mobil phone from the County disclosed that the former Liberia ambassador has provided education opportunity to many youths of the county today some of them are contributing to Liberia development drive.
He further that for the level of experience the former Liberia ambassador has both in the public and private sectors, adding that they are with the confidence that he can best represent the county at the level of the Liberian Senate.
According to him, the ambassador has under taking many developmental projects within the county today the citizens are proud of.
However, the National Chairman of the Movement of Sulonteh asserted that the ambassador is best suited for the position, noting that he is a truth son of the County.
He explained that former ambassador Sulonteh has sponsored some students from the county to the USA to do there master.
The Sulonteh Movement National Chairman Frank added that the ambassador has the ability and contacts to redeem the citizens of Bong County.
According to him, in their mind for the Senatorial By-election ambassador Sulonteh is the only alternative for them.
However, he did not state on which tickets the ambassador will be contesting on for the county pending Senatorial By-election.
The By-Election came about after former Montserrado County Senator George Manneh Weah and Bong County former Senator Jewel Howard Taylor won December 27, 2017 Presidential runoff election.
