LCC, IRCL Congratulate Muslim Community
– As They Observer Ramadan
The President of the Liberia Council of Churches (LCC) and the Inter-Religious Council of Liberia (IRCL), Bishop Kortu K. Brown has sent out a message of congratulations and best wishes to all Muslims in the country on the auspicious occasion of Ramadan fast month.
In the letter which was addressed to the National Muslim Council of Liberia (NMCL), on the occasion of their month long Fasting and Prayer during this year’s holy month of Ramadan which started last month, Rev. Brown expressed god’s guidance as they pray for Liberia.
Bishop Brown expressed the hope that the almighty creator bestows his mercy on them as they continue to fast and pray for themselves, families, leaders and the nation at large and for peace and stability.
According to a press release Bishop Brown also prays that the Almighty bestows his divine mercy on Liberia as nation, and continue to sustain peace, and strengthen our bounds as religious people.
May the Lord help us to work together for continuous peaceful coexistence, stability and security in Liberia.
