FORMER CDC CANDIDATE LAUDS PRES WEAH AND THE 54TH LEGISLATURE
-ENCOURAGES LIBERIANS TO BE PATIENCE
The Congress for Democratic Change (CDC), River Gee County former candidate in the 2014 Special Senatorial elections, Mr. Alex Yeaher over the week lauded President George M. Weah and members of the 54th Legislature for their meaningful role they shown in getting the necessary loans for roads in the country.Mr. Alex Yeaher, a strong stalwart of the Congress for Democratic Change (CDC) said the recent concurrence of both Members of the 54th Legislature in the agreements of the two loans for roads connectivity in the country mainly the southeast of the country is in the interest of the people and everyone should extol President Weah and the Honorable Men and Women at the 54th Legislature for job well done.
“’If I was at the 54th Legislature , I was going to sign these agreements for the betterment of the country and people, for long our people in that part (Southeast) and others part of the Country have suffered and this is the time to put all political lines aside and work in the interest of the Liberian people. Democracy is growing in our society on a daily basics, to see some of our Brothers and Sisters from difference Parties doing this for country without delay is laudable”, he said.
According to the former CDC candidate, through better paved roads connectivity farmers and others economic transactions will encourage well meaning investors to move into the southeastern region while Families will have the easy way of visiting their love ones,” I tell you this some families from the southeast of this country sometimes visit their people in three to four years times due to bad roads condition, so these loans are in the interest of the people, we real need to thank the Executive and the 54th Legislature for this”.
Meanwhile, the former CDC River Gee county senatorial candidate is asking Liberians home and abroad to be very patience with the CDC –led government, stating this is just the beginning of the CDC-led government hope for change and the Pro-Poor Agenda.”There are more good things coming for this country and its people under this government all Liberians needs now is patience, as the saying goes hurry, hurry burst trousers but patience person eats the best part”.
