Min. Sirleaf Pays Courtesy Call On First Lady Weah

First Lady Clar Marie Weah, Wednesday August 8, received in audience Internal Affairs Minister Varney Sirleaf at her Foreign Ministry offices on Capitol Hill, Monrovia.
The Internal Affairs Minister, in a brief discussion, expressed appreciation over the First Lady’s humanitarian work, especially caring for the underprivileged people of Liberia.
Minister Sirleaf, described such initiatives as an essential boost to government’s efforts to enhancing the livelihood of its people.He particularly named the First Lady’s support to orphanages, the construct of the old folks home in Buchanan Grand Bassa County and the program to feed the elderly in Montserrado County among others.
Minister Sirleaf reaffirmed his support to the First Lady’s humanitarian initiatives across Liberia.
For her part, First Lady Clar Marie Weah thanked the Minister for the courtesy call and welcomed his support.
The First Lady reiterated her commitment to continue reach out to the less fortunate people of Liberia in an effort to improve their living standards.
