Rep. Barshell Cautions Graduating Class

Montserrado County Electoral District # 3 Representative, Ceebee C.D. Barshell has cautioned graduates of his institution to pay attention to their education, adding that education has a vital role to play in any society.
Mr. David G. Barshell Sr. who is also the proprietor of the David Barshell School System made the assertion recently at a program marking the institution’s 3rd graduation exercise.
The well attended graduation exercise was held at the Billie Call Christian Assembly Wood Camp, in Paynesville outside Monrovia.The Montserrado County lawmaker encouraged the graduates to press forward for higher education, rather than being complacent with high school education.
He informed the graduates that they have vital roles to play in the rebuilding process of mama Liberia, noting that education is the bedrock to the growth and development of any nation.
Representative Barshell stated that if Liberia is to be on par with other countries around the comity of nations, the young people of Liberia need to see reason to get engaged into those positive ventures that could bring pride to the country and its citizenry.
He cautioned his graduates to serve as ambassadors of change, as they are walking out of the walls of the David G. Barshell School System.
The proprietor of the institution informed the graduates to say no to any forms of violence that may come their way, as they are walking out of the walls of the institution.
He however pledged his fullest support for promoting education throughout Liberia, adding that if one educates a person, the entire nation has been educated.
This year’s graduation was held under the Theme: maintaining the foundation as a catalyst to producing effective and productive leaders to transform society.
