Police Chief Sudue Reaffirms Commitment to Duty

The Inspector General of the police, Patrick Sudue has reaffirmed the Liberia National Police (LNP’s) commitment to fighting crimes throughout the country.
Speaking to reporters over the weekend on the ground of the Capitol Building on Capitol Hill, the police Inspector General emphasized that they remain committed in protecting lives and properties through the length and breadth of the country.The LNP boss further that, despite of the limited budgetary support they will continue to do the work of the Liberian people.
Inspector General Sudue stated that currently they are face series of challenges to include logistics, uniform among others.
He asserted that in the absent of all of these the police still executing her duty rather than going on the media to complain.
The LNP boss indicated that he as head of the police to keep going on the media to complain about lack of logistics and other things will not in no way help them be effective in the discharge of their duty.
He added that they will keep on with their work, so that if anyone sees the need to help them,it would be fine for them.
The police Inspector General noted that under his administration he intends to build a professional and a strong police force.
LNP boss Sudue said that if the country has a professional and strong police they will at all the times be effective in tracking down the crime rate in the country.
The LNP chief called on police officers throughout the country to continue adhering to the ethics of the police profession.
He used the medium to appreciate the United Nation Development Program (UNDP) for the uniforms they donated to the police recently.
According to him, the move made by the UNDP was in the right direction and lauded by members of the Liberia National Police (LNP).
